Sharon Cawley - Wellness Coach, Hypnotherapist and Mindfulness Facilitator

About

Hi, I’m Sharon.

My work grew from lived experience. Over 15 years ago, while studying for my degree at home and raising three young children, I found myself overwhelmed and quietly questioning how sustainable everything really was. I knew something needed to change — not dramatically, but gently.

That moment became the beginning of a journey back to balance, self-understanding, and a deeper appreciation of how our thoughts, emotions, and nervous system shape the way we live.

Today, I support adults, young people, and children who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. My approach is warm, grounded, and relational. I don’t believe in rushing people or offering quick solutions — I believe change happens when we feel safe enough to slow down and listen to ourselves.

How I Work

I’m a Clinical Hypnotherapist, wellbeing practitioner, and mindfulness facilitator, and I am currently training towards qualification as a counsellor. As part of this training, I practise counselling under supervision, working within clear ethical and professional boundaries.

I work integratively, drawing on counselling skills alongside hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches, always tailoring the work to the individual, their age, and what feels right for them.

When working with children and young people, support is adapted in a developmentally appropriate way, with safeguarding and parental involvement included where needed.

Alongside my therapeutic work, I’m also a part-time teacher, a mum to my now grown children, a wife to my husband David, and an aromatherapy enthusiast. These roles keep me grounded in real life — and they shape the way I meet the people I work with.

A Gentle Place to Begin

You don’t need to have the right words, a clear plan, or everything worked out. Sometimes the first step is simply finding a space where it feels safe to talk.

If you’d like to explore whether Inner-Haven feels right for you or your child, you’re very welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation.

The mind is everything. What you think you become.
